Remember How To Live
The London Fairytales
The London Fairytales is a collection of poems for children. Each poem has an element of magic to it and is set in one of London's popular parks. The poems include maps allowing the reader to visit the locations mentioned in the poems. I am currently looking for Illustrators interested in collaborating on this project!
'Remember How To Live' is my first full length play. It is set in a primary school & tells the story of a young assistant who becomes obsessed with children's drawings. The play depicts one man's struggle against the education system with a chilling twist for an ending.
I am in the process of creating a PhD proposal that investigates the uses of ritual practice in actor training. My main focus would be on the structure of rituals and how they create an environment that allows transcendence & supports the subjunctive world of play.
'The Fisherman's Daughter' is a twenty minute multidiscipline piece that combines live music, animation & dance. It tells the story of a 19th Century family; the fears & temptions of life at sea; the family's struggle against the vicious Captain; & the tragedy of loosing loved ones.

I've always been an avid writer and thought I would share a little of what I am up to. I'm also keen to find out what people think & to work in collaboration with others.
I'm especially interested in hearing from any illustrators out there who would enjoy contributing to stories for children.
